The Greenpoint Waterfront Association for Parks & Planning and the Open Space Alliance of North Brooklyn have created an ONLINE PETITION and are encouraging supporters of the park to "Send a message to our state government in Albany to let them know we demand a PARK and not a POWER PLANT.
